Featuring Sussan Deyhim, Bill Laswell, Simon Shaheen and the music of Abdel Wahab, Omar Faruk Tekbilek, DJ Cheb i Sabbah, Badawi, Jah Wobble and Shahim Bada, U-Cef, Micheline Abdel Karim and Fred Leonard and Divination. Though a number of featured performers no longer can return to their native soil, Spiritual Beauty transcends borders and politics. Revolutionary poet Hakim Bey puts it this way: "These musicians seem to say that if music itself is exile, then music is the homeland."
